In 2019 Vann Studio partnered with Peer Seattle to host an evening of empowerment and glamour to support the organization’s mission of cultivating powerful, healthy lives by providing peer emotional support and development services to the LGBTQ community impacted by addiction, mental health, and / or HIV.
Milkshakes & Mocktails
In 2019, Vann Studio Salon partnered with Peer Seattle, an organization that cultivates powerful, healthy lives by providing peer emotional support and development services to the LGBTQ community impacted by addiction, mental health, and / or HIV, in a fundraising initiative to support their Peer Employment Group. The Peer Employment Group works with members to build confidence and skills to support their job search as they transition back into the work force.
Vann Studio hosted a fabulous evening entitled “Milkshakes & Mocktails” where studio stylists completed makeovers for PEG members and bought them an interview outfit. The night culminated in a fashion show where members debuted their new looks, and the event raised nearly $2,500 for Peer Seattle.
